Description
Export claude.ai chats, projects, attachments and scheduled tasks to a local zip. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Take your Claude data with you. Claude AI Export saves your claude.ai account — conversations, projects, attachments and scheduled tasks — into a single .zip file on your computer. You can keep it as a backup, or import it into Claude Desktop. WHAT IT EXPORTS • Conversations, with their full message history, including branches from edited or regenerated messages • Projects: names, instructions, and knowledge documents • Attachments and images you uploaded to conversations • Scheduled tasks • Which project each conversation belongs to You choose how far back to go: the last 30 days, the last 90 days, or everything. NOTHING IS UPLOADED There is no server. There is no account to create. There is no analytics, no telemetry, and no error reporting. Your conversations are read in your browser and written straight to your Downloads folder. Nothing is sent anywhere, and there is nowhere for it to be sent — the extension is permitted to contact claude.ai and no other host, which the browser enforces rather than us promising it. It also never reads or stores your claude.ai session. It asks the browser to attach your existing sign-in to its own requests, so the browser holds the credential and the extension never sees it. Open Settings → Import & export → Import, and choose the .zip this extension produced. Conversations arrive in the sidebar and projects become Spaces. Re-running an import does not create duplicates. HOW TO USE IT 1. Click the extension icon 2. Choose a date range 3. Press Start export It opens claude.ai for you if it needs to, and waits if you are not signed in. A large history takes a few minutes; the page shows progress and you can leave it running. UNOFFICIAL This is an independent tool. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Anthropic.
