Clip web pages, tweets, Kindle highlights & videos into a local memory your AI can search. ClipBrain is the memory layer between your reading life and your AI. Requires the free ClipBrain local server. This extension is the capture half of ClipBrain: it sends what you clip to a small open-source server running on your own computer. Setup: git clone https://github.com/agentpilled/ClipBrain cd ClipBrain ./setup.sh What it does: - Clip web pages, tweets, Kindle highlights, YouTube transcripts, Gmail threads, and PDFs - Store captures locally through your own ClipBrain/GBrain database - Make your saved knowledge searchable by AI tools over MCP - Return cited context packs so agents can answer from what you actually read Why it exists: Your AI should not start from zero every time. ClipBrain turns the things you read and save into working memory your agents can use later. Privacy: There is no ClipBrain cloud. Captures are sent to your own local server at 127.0.0.1:19285.
