Detect streaming video (HLS / DASH / progressive) and send it to the StreamGrab download manager. StreamGrab detects streaming and downloadable video on the pages you visit — HLS (.m3u8), DASH (.mpd), and direct MP4/WebM files — and shows a one-click Download button. Click it and the video is handed to the StreamGrab desktop app, which downloads it fast over multiple connections and saves it as an MP4. Your browsing data is never collected or sent to any server. Detected media details are passed only to the StreamGrab app running locally on your own computer, through Chrome's native messaging. Note: StreamGrab cannot download DRM-protected streams (such as Netflix or Disney+). It works with non-protected media, and only for content you have the right to download.
