Web Capture Logger saves webpage screenshots, full-page snapshots, and selected text clips locally with clean URL metadata. Web Capture Logger is a local-first browser extension for saving useful webpages as structured records. You can capture content in three ways: • Capture Image: manually select an area of the page and save it as a screenshot. • Save Snapshot: save the current screen or create a long-page snapshot. • Clip Text: select text on a webpage and save it with source information. Each record stores the page title, original URL, cleaned URL, domain, record time, record type, category, tags, and notes. The extension is designed for research, content collection, evidence saving, competitor analysis, shopping references, article archiving, and web reading workflows. All records are stored locally in your browser. No account is required, and your saved content is not uploaded to a server. You can search, filter, sort, reopen source pages, and export records to Markdown or CSV.
