Ask fast probabilistic questions about the page you are viewing. Ask Jev brings TypeSafe's Jev model to any webpage. Press a shortcut, type a question, and get a calibrated probabilistic answer — without leaving the page. HOW IT WORKS Ask Jev uses Jev's native Choice API: you supply the question and the possible answers, and Jev returns a probability for each. Default choices are YES, NO, and UNCLEAR — edit them or add your own to fit the question. • Select text on the page to ask about it directly, or let Ask Jev extract the page's readable content automatically • Drag in up to three documents (TXT, Markdown, JSON, CSV, or PDF) as extra context for a single question • Save reference documents in Settings and attach them to any question, on any page • Everything is keyboard-first: open with Command+J (macOS) or Ctrl+Shift+K (Windows/Linux), Enter to ask, Escape to close PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Documents are parsed locally in your browser — raw files are never uploaded • Only the text relevant to your question is sent to TypeSafe's API • Your API key is stored locally and only ever transmitted to api.typesafe.ai • No analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no data sent anywhere else REQUIREMENTS Ask Jev requires a TypeSafe API key. Paste it into the extension's options page after installation and you're ready to go.
