Description
Detect and download supported MP4, WebM and HLS videos. SnapVideoTools Ext detects downloadable videos on pages and lets users choose an available format and quality. Infinite-scroll and single-page feeds show newly detected videos first and retain up to 24 recent videos until the page is fully refreshed, while standalone audio tracks stay out of the video list. Supported features include MP4, WebM, HLS and DASH downloads, multiple quality variants, available pixel dimensions and file sizes in the variant selector, download progress, pause and resume, live HLS recording, completed-download history, and a built-in video player. Compatible MPEG-TS HLS streams are remuxed locally into real MP4 files without re-encoding, while native fragmented MP4 HLS media keeps its existing MP4 container. TikTok and Douyin detail, feed and modal pages are supported through local page and network-response detection when the page provides compatible media. The store build includes dedicated adapters for public services. YouTube pages are detection-only and cannot be added to the download queue. DRM-protected streams are identified and disabled rather than bypassed. Open a supported public video page, click the extension icon, select a quality, and choose Download. Downloaded files remain under the user's Chrome download directory. Detection, settings, queue state and download history are processed locally.
