Inspect raw vs. rendered SEO evidence, crawler-policy signals, and before/after page changes. SEO Evidence Lab is a local-first technical SEO evidence inspector for the page open in your current tab. It helps developers, technical SEOs, and site owners distinguish what a server returns from what the browser renders, while keeping incomplete or unavailable evidence explicit. Use SEO Evidence Lab to: - compare raw same-page HTML with the rendered DOM; - inspect titles, descriptions, canonicals, headings, schema, links, images, indexability signals, and response evidence; - review robots.txt policy evidence for search, citation, training, and user-triggered crawlers using clearly separated categories; - save local scan history and compare a page with its previous scan; - export evidence-rich Markdown and JSON reports; - see when evidence is partial, unavailable, or not safely comparable. The extension runs only when you open it and choose Scan page. It requests temporary access to the active tab, performs bounded collection, and stores scan history in Chrome's local extension storage. SEO Evidence Lab does not send scan data to the developer, use analytics or advertising trackers, sell data, modify the page, edit robots.txt, or predict rankings, indexing, or AI citations. Raw HTML is obtained through a second same-page request, not the original navigation response. Authentication, personalization, experiments, service workers, and timing can therefore produce legitimate differences. The interface keeps those limits visible instead of presenting uncertain evidence as a pass or failure. Supported pages: HTTP and HTTPS webpages in Google Chrome. Chrome internal pages, extension pages, file URLs, and PDFs are not scanned.
