Automatically hides posts on the new Reddit UI after they have appeared in your feed. Reddit Hide Seen keeps the new Reddit feed cleaner by automatically hiding posts you have already seen. When you scroll Reddit, the same posts can appear again across feeds, communities, reloads, and browsing sessions. This extension solves that narrow problem: once a post has appeared in your viewport long enough to count as seen, Reddit Hide Seen remembers it locally and hides it the next time it appears. You do not need to click or open a post for it to count as seen. If the post appeared in your feed while scrolling, the extension can mark it as seen. What it does: - Detects post cards on the new Reddit UI. - Marks a post as seen after short visible exposure in the viewport. - Stores the seen-post history locally in your browser. - Hides already-seen posts when they appear again. - Lets you turn hiding on or off from the popup. - Lets you clear the local seen-post history at any time. - Supports English and Slovak in the popup interface. Why install it: - Spend less time scrolling past repeated Reddit posts. - Keep feeds easier to scan. - Avoid reopening or rereading posts you already passed. - Keep the behavior simple, local, and predictable. Supported Reddit hosts: - www.reddit.com - new.reddit.com - sh.reddit.com Old Reddit is not supported: - old.reddit.com Privacy: Reddit Hide Seen stores only the minimum local data needed to hide already-seen posts: Reddit post identifiers, post permalinks, timestamps, and extension settings. This data stays in chrome.storage.local in your browser. The extension does not upload data to any server, does not sell data, does not share data with third parties, and does not use analytics or advertising. The extension has one purpose: hide Reddit posts that have already appeared in your feed on the supported new Reddit UI.
