Run Shopify Admin API queries with your own browser session. No API token. GraphiQL, MCP for Claude, analytics and CSV. A GraphiQL editor and MCP server for the Shopify Admin GraphQL API. It uses the Shopify Admin session already open in your browser, so there’s no API token, custom app or OAuth setup required. Open a store in Shopify Admin and it works. Built for Shopify developers, agencies and technical merchants who want direct access to the Shopify GraphQL API, especially across multiple stores. FREE GRAPHIQL EDITOR • Full GraphiQL editor with autocomplete, inline docs and validation • Uses the store’s live GraphQL schema • Supports every API version available on the store, including “latest” • Query history and saved queries, stored locally • Works across any Shopify store you’re signed into • No account required MCP FOR CLAUDE, CURSOR AND CODEX Connect the Shopify Admin API to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code or Codex through MCP. The MCP uses the same browser session as the extension. As long as you have the Shopify Admin open, your AI client can query and manage the store. There’s no API token to create, no app to install and no setup to repeat when you switch to another store. npx -y shopify-graphql-extension-mcp Use it to query products and orders, update metafields, manage redirects, edit store data, run bulk operations, import CSV files, export data and handle other Shopify Admin tasks. Reads can run automatically. Writes require approval before they’re sent to Shopify. First 50 MCP tool calls are free with a free account. No card required. BULK QUERIES AND OPERATIONS Run large Shopify GraphQL queries and mutations through Shopify’s Bulk Operations API. This can be used for large product catalogs, variants, customers, orders and other Shopify data without writing pagination scripts or manually processing thousands of API requests. Bulk operations can also be run and monitored directly from the extension. CSV IMPORT AND EXPORT Import and export Shopify data without installing a separate import/export app. • Products and variants • Collections • Customers • Pages • URL redirects • Metafields Large exports use Shopify’s Bulk Operations API. Imports support dry runs, so you can see every create, update and delete before anything is changed. A backup of affected records is created before the import runs. SHOPIFY ANALYTICS THROUGH MCP Ask your AI client questions about revenue, orders, sessions, conversion rate, profit per order, returns and marketing attribution. The MCP runs ShopifyQL against Shopify’s report schemas and supports period comparisons such as comparing last month with the month before. AI CHAT The extension also includes AI chat for Shopify GraphQL. Describe what you want to query or change and it can write the GraphQL, run it and explain the result. It uses the store’s live schema and Shopify’s current API documentation. PRICING The GraphiQL editor is free forever and doesn’t require an account. MCP, bulk operations, CSV import/export, Shopify analytics and AI chat are included with Pro for $29/month or $290/year. You can try MCP with 50 free tool calls on a free account with no card, or try all Pro features free for 3 days. PRIVACY Your Shopify session, tokens, GraphQL queries and query results are never sent to our backend or stored on our servers. GraphiQL queries go directly from your browser to Shopify using the Admin session already open in your browser. Saved queries and query history are stored locally on your device. The only exception is when you choose to use AI chat. The AI receives the relevant query and result so it can answer your request. Your Shopify session and authentication tokens are never sent to the AI or our backend. This extension supports the Shopify Admin GraphQL API. Shopify’s REST Admin API is not supported.
