MarkHub is a local-first Chrome bookmark manager built for fast search, privacy, and bookmark health review. MarkHub is a local-first Chrome bookmark manager built for fast search, privacy, smart capture, and bookmark health review. It syncs with your native Chrome bookmarks and indexes them locally, so you can search by title, URL, domain, normalized URL, folder path, notes, tags, saved quotes, and captured page metadata. Smart Capture lets you save the current page with context: choose a Chrome bookmark folder, add a note and tags, and keep selected text as a searchable quote. For existing bookmarks, you can update the context or move the bookmark to another folder. MarkHub also helps you maintain a healthier bookmark library by detecting duplicate links, reviewing unopened or stale bookmarks, and scanning saved links for pages that may be broken or no longer reachable. Key features: - Fast local bookmark search - Native Chrome bookmark sync - Smart Capture for the current page - Save notes, tags, selected quotes, and page metadata - Tree-based Chrome bookmark folder picker - Update saved bookmarks and move them between folders - Duplicate bookmark detection - Unopened and stale bookmark review - Broken link scanning - Scan progress and cached scan results - Chrome bookmark usage time support - Local-first data storage by default - URL access requested only when you start a link scan MarkHub is designed for users who want to keep their bookmarks organized, preserve the reason behind each saved link, reduce duplicates, quickly find old resources, and review potentially broken links without unnecessary cloud dependency.
