Select any region of a webpage, extract the text with on-device OCR, and translate it instantly using the DeepL Translation API. SnapTranslate lets you translate text that's in images, screenshots, and graphics without leaving the tab. How it works 1. Click the SnapTranslate icon and start a selection. 2. Drag a box around any text on the page. 3. SnapTranslate reads the text using on-device OCR and translates it with DeepL, showing the result in a small panel right next to your selection. Why SnapTranslate - Works on text you can't normally select: screenshots, embedded images, graphics, PDFs rendered in-browser, and more. - OCR runs entirely on your device, so the image never leaves your browser. - Choose which languages OCR should recognize and which language to translate into. - You only need to bring your own free or paid DeepL API key. Note: SnapTranslate requires a DeepL API key (a free tier is available directly from DeepL) to perform translations. OCR works locally without any key.
