Select any text and a translation appears instantly; translate an entire page in place and revert with one click. No account, no sign-up, no tracking. Everything you translate stays on your device unless you explicitly send it to be translated. WHAT IT DOES • Inline translation tooltip — Highlight any text on any page and a small card shows the translation right at your cursor, with a button to listen, copy, or save it. • Persistent corner widget — The most recent translation stays pinned in the corner of the page so it doesn't vanish when you scroll. Collapse it to a button or dismiss it any time. • Full-page translation — Right-click anywhere on a page and choose "Translate this page" — every block of text is translated in place, with a banner to switch back to the original. • Popup translator — Click the toolbar icon to open a compact panel for pasting text, choosing source and target languages, and reading dictionary alternatives for single words. • History — Your last 500 translations are kept locally for quick recall. Click any entry to use it again. • Phrasebook — Star any translation to save it permanently (up to 2,000 entries) — perfect for vocabulary you're learning. • Keyboard shortcuts — Translate the current selection or the entire page without leaving your keyboard. Defaults: Ctrl+Shift+T (selection) and Ctrl+Shift+P (page); fully rebindable in Chrome's shortcut settings. • Right-click menu — "Translate selection" and "Translate this page" available anywhere via the context menu. • Text-to-speech — Hear any translation spoken aloud using your browser's built-in voices. • 100+ languages — Powered by Google Translate's web service, including auto-detect for the source language. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account required — Install and use immediately. • No analytics, no telemetry, no ads — Nothing about your browsing is reported anywhere. • Your data stays on your device — History and phrasebook live in your browser's local storage and never leave it. Clear them any time from the Options page, or uninstall to remove everything. • Only the text you choose to translate is sent — over HTTPS — to Google Translate's translation service to produce the result.
