It stores recent copies locally on the device, including text, links, code, commands, and images. No account. No uploads. No tracking. Core functionality works with the network disabled. **How it works:** 1. Copy normally. 2. Open history with Ctrl+Shift+V or the toolbar icon. 3. Search or browse. 4. Select an item to copy it back. 5. Paste normally. **Capture:** - Automatic capture on copy/cut events. - System clipboard sync on open plus manual sync button. - Paste-to-save directly in search box. - Right-click selected text to save. - Image copy support with local thumbnails, preview, copy-back, and download. - Duplicate collapsing with copy counts. **Search:** - Instant, typo-tolerant fuzzy search. - Searches text, URLs, domains, titles, classifications, tags, snippets. - Type filters: All, Pinned, Links, Code, Images, Text. - Snippet shortcut search via `/shortcut`. - Keyboard navigation: arrows, Enter, Delete, Ctrl+P, Ctrl+F, Esc. **Organization:** - Pins for frequent items. Pinned items are exempt from retention limits. - Permanent snippets with names, `/shortcuts`, tags, and use counts. - Automatic classification: URL, email, code, JSON, Markdown, command, number, color, phone, file path, general text. - Language hinting and monospace code preview. - History limits: 50 to 5,000 or unlimited. Retention: 1 hour to never. **Privacy and security:** - Zero network requests. Local IndexedDB and chrome.storage only. - No analytics, no advertising, no external AI processing. - Local sensitive-data detection for private keys, API tokens, JWTs, cloud credentials, card numbers. - Configurable policy: block highly sensitive content, hold for review, or save all. Held items store redacted previews only. - Per-site exclusions. One-click opt-out for banking or internal sites. - Clipboard content rendered as text only.
