A better inbox for HomeExchange. Not affiliated with or endorsed by HomeExchange. BetterInbox is a lightweight layer on top of your HomeExchange inbox that turns a long, flat list of conversations into something you can actually manage. WHAT IT ADDS • Folders — group conversations (by trip, by destination, however you think). • Status labels — stamp each conversation: to-reply, waiting, confirmed, maybe, pass. • Private notes — jot your own observations about a member ("flexible on dates", "has a dog", "great for kids"). Only you ever see them. • Trust at a glance — see a member's rating, completed exchanges, and member-since right next to the conversation, fetched on demand. • Date filtering — filter the inbox by the months or date ranges mentioned in conversations. • Mark as unread — a manual unread overlay so nothing slips through. • Multiple languages — the full interface is available in English, French, German, and Spanish. It auto-detects your browser language on first run and you can switch anytime from the toolbar popup; your choice is remembered. • Export / import — your data lives in a JSON file you control; it's never trapped. PRIVATE BY DESIGN BetterInbox runs entirely in your own browser. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no tracking. The folders, labels, and notes you create are stored locally on your device and are never sent anywhere.
