Select text and every match on the page lights up instantly, with a match count and Enter / Shift+Enter to jump. No typing, no lag. Select any word or phrase on a web page and every other occurrence is highlighted instantly — like "find in page" and "highlight all" with zero typing. WHAT IT DOES - Highlight all matches on select — drag to select (or double-click a word) and every match on the page lights up. Works with symbols like * or +, two-letter codes, numbers, and phrases of up to 200 characters. - Match count and jump — see "3 / 42" in the corner and the total on the toolbar badge. Press Enter for the next match, Shift+Enter for the previous one, Esc to clear the highlights. If you have pinned words, Esc again removes them. Note: the badge fits about four characters, so a total past ten thousand is shortened to "32k". The count itself stops at 100,000 matches, and the badge then reads "99k+". - Multi highlight with pins — pin a word from the Pin button in the match counter, from the popup, or with a keyboard shortcut, and it stays highlighted while you select other words. The same button unpins it, and the counter keeps showing how many words are pinned after you clear the search, so you can unpin them later. Free: 2 pinned words per site, for the current browser session. Pro: as many as you like, kept on that site every time you come back. Five highlight colors are used in turn, so past the fifth word the colors repeat. - Match case and whole word (Pro) — the match counter has Aa and ab toggles, so you can narrow a search without opening anything. Click anywhere — the highlights stay until you select something else or press Esc. 4. To keep a word highlighted while you look for another, press Pin in the match counter. Press it again to unpin, or press Esc twice to clear everything. SCRIPTS AND LANGUAGES Japanese, Chinese, Korean, accented Latin and right-to-left scripts all match correctly, including partial matches and correct word boundaries. Whole-word matching applies to scripts that separate words with spaces; Japanese, Chinese and Korean have no word separators, so use partial matching there. Interface available in English and Japanese. NOT SUPPORTED Chrome's built-in PDF viewer, Google Docs, pages drawn on a canvas, and video subtitles cannot be highlighted by any extension. Embedded frames (iframes) work on their own: select text inside the frame and it highlights there, but a selection made on the main page does not reach into frames. PRIVACY Everything runs in your browser. The extension never sends page content, URLs, or the text you select anywhere. It asks to run on all sites only so it can react the moment you select text, and it reads the page locally. The only things kept on your device are your settings, your pinned words, your license key if you bought Pro, a first-run marker, and a random ID used to count anonymous usage.
