The scene: the White House lawn on a clear day. A sun crosses the sky from left to right — one full arc over four years. That sun is Donald Trump. His position is the percentage of his second term that has elapsed. He has been up there since 20 January 2025. He sets on 20 January 2029. Every ten minutes the extension pulls live headlines from The Guardian and Google News. A vocabulary of signal words — slams, soars, stuns, warns, celebrates — maps each headline to one of nine cartoon expressions: delighted, smug, shocked, furious, stern, afraid, sulking, sad, or worried. The face changes accordingly. Below him, on signposts in the lawn, Marco Rubio and JD Vance stand watch. Nothing is curated or editorially selected after the fact.
