Description
Block distracting websites during timed focus sessions, with customizable study-site exceptions. FocusFlow helps you stay with the task you chose by redirecting distracting website navigation during a timed Chrome focus session. Choose a task, select 25, 45, or 60 minutes, and start. FocusFlow keeps working while its popup is closed. Features: - Standard mode blocks enabled social media, video and streaming, gaming, shopping, and news lists, plus websites you add yourself. - Strict mode allows only your study websites and return destination during the session. - Study-site exceptions let you keep class resources and sign-in domains available. - The intervention page reminds you of your current task and lets you return to the destination you chose. - Pause, resume, edit settings, or end the session at any time. Privacy: FocusFlow handles website addresses, the task name you enter, website lists, timer state, blocking mode, and return destination so it can provide these features. This information is processed and stored locally in your Chrome profile. FocusFlow has no account, analytics, advertising, developer data server, or remote classifier, and it does not send this information to the developer or an external service. FocusFlow manages normal HTTP and HTTPS website navigation in the Chrome profile where it is installed. It does not restrict other apps, other browsers, Chrome's internal pages, or distracting content inside a website you allow. Built-in lists are finite; Strict mode covers normal websites outside those lists by requiring an explicit study exception. FocusFlow is a voluntary focus aid.
