Highlight text and save it with source link, notes, and organize in directories. Effortless Highlighting, Bookmarking, and Organization for the Modern Web User PondMark is a next-generation Chrome extension designed to revolutionize the way you capture, organize, and revisit information on the web. Whether you’re a student, researcher, professional, or lifelong learner, PondMark empowers you to save not just links, but the actual snippets of text that matter most—along with their context—directly from your browser. Why PondMark? The internet is overflowing with valuable information, but traditional bookmarking tools are stuck in the past. They save entire pages, not the specific insights or quotes you want to remember. Over time, your bookmarks become a cluttered, unsearchable mess. PondMark solves this by letting you highlight any text, right-click, and instantly save it—complete with the source link, page title, and your own notes—into organized folders. Key Features Highlight and Save Instantly: With PondMark, saving information is as easy as highlighting text and right-clicking. The “Save to PondMark” option appears in your context menu, allowing you to capture the exact snippet you want, along with its source, in just two clicks. Organize with Folders: No more endless, flat lists of bookmarks. PondMark lets you create, rename, and delete folders, so you can categorize your snippets by project, topic, or any system that works for you. Move bookmarks between folders with ease, and keep your research or inspiration tidy and accessible. Rich Metadata: Every saved snippet includes the original text, the page title, the URL, and a timestamp. This makes it easy to remember where you found something and why it was important. Intuitive Popup Interface: Click the PondMark icon in your browser to open a sleek, modern popup. Here, you can browse your folders, view and manage your saved snippets, and add new bookmarks manually if needed. The interface is designed for speed and clarity, using modern design principles for a delightful user experience. Move and Delete Bookmarks: Easily move bookmarks between folders or delete them when they’re no longer needed. PondMark gives you full control over your saved information. Context Menu Folder Selection: When saving a snippet via right-click, PondMark presents a folder selection dialog, so you can choose exactly where your new bookmark should go—no need to reorganize later. Privacy-First: All your data is stored locally in your browser. PondMark does not send your snippets, links, or notes to any external server, ensuring your research and personal information remain private. How It Works Highlight any text on a web page.
