Stay focused with timer tracking, blocked-site protection, and smart website checks that help keep your sessions on track. LockedIn is a goal-aware focus timer for Chrome. Tell LockedIn what you want to accomplish, choose a session length, and start focusing. During the active session, LockedIn checks whether the current page supports your goal, tracks focused and distracted time, and shows a reminder when browsing drifts off-goal. KEY FEATURES - Natural-language focus goals - Focus sessions from 1 to 480 minutes - Optional main focus page - Persistent Chrome side-panel timer - Goal-aware page decisions with an explanation inspector - Session history and productivity summaries - Temporary allowances and user-controlled allow/block rules - Optional tab grouping for relevant and distracting pages THREE SCANNING MODES - Hybrid: the bundled local reranker checks the page first; your selected cloud provider prepares the goal, verifies off-goal results, and resolves uncertain results. - Local only: uses the bundled on-device reranker without cloud classification calls. - AI only: uses your configured cloud provider for every page that is not decided by an explicit rule. PRIVACY AND CONTROL LockedIn does not scan page content continuously after installation. Before the first focus session, it explains what page signals are read and asks for both in-product consent and Chrome website access. Scanning runs only while a focus session is active. Local-only mode keeps page classification on the device. Hybrid and AI-only require the user's own Google Gemini or Groq API key and send the disclosed goal and bounded page signals directly to the selected provider over HTTPS. LockedIn does not operate a browsing-data server and does not sell user data. No LockedIn account is required. Local-only mode works without a cloud API key.
