Scores public GitHub profiles against a role brief you write once, using real repo and README signal. Scout — Dev Skill Matcher Scout reads public GitHub profiles and scores them against a role you're hiring for or a skill set you're looking for — written once as a plain-language brief. How it works Open any GitHub profile and a SCOUT tab appears on the right edge. Click it and Scout pulls the person's repos, aggregates the languages they actually work in, and reads the README from their top starred projects — then scores the whole profile against your brief. You get a fit score, a verdict, concrete matches (tied to real repos, not just claimed skills), and gaps. Works on list pages too: GitHub's user search results, an organization's People page, or anyone's followers/following list all get a "Scan this page" button that scores up to 25 visible profiles at once, ranked by fit. Optionally add a GitHub personal access token to raise your API rate limit for batch scans. Write your role brief once in settings; rewrite it anytime you're screening for something different. Privacy All requests go directly from your browser to api.github.com and api.anthropic.com using your own credentials. Nothing is logged, stored, or sent anywhere else.
