Captures Google Meet's live captions into a transcript. Optionally send a summary to your own WhatsApp when you leave. Live Notes for Google Meet automatically captures Google Meet's live captions and turns them into a clean, readable transcript — right in your browser, with nothing sent anywhere unless you choose to. HOW IT WORKS Turn on Google Meet's captions as usual. Live Notes for Google Meet quietly records them in the background and organizes them into a transcript you can read, copy, or download once your call ends. WHAT YOU GET - A running transcript of your meeting, built from live captions - One-click Copy to clipboard - One-click Download as a .txt file - Speaker names shown correctly — just set your name once in Settings, since Meet normally labels your own captions as "You" OPTIONAL: SEND TO WHATSAPP If you want a copy sent to yourself automatically, add your WhatsApp number in Settings. When you leave a call, a summary plus the full transcript will be sent to that number. Leave it blank and nothing ever leaves your browser. PRIVACY BY DEFAULT Captions are captured locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or sent anywhere unless you explicitly turn on WhatsApp delivery. No account, no sign-up required. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants a written record of a Google Meet call — for follow-ups, notes, or just so you're not scrambling to remember what was said. Requires Google Meet's live captions to be turned on during the call.
