Audits your app against 60 documented signs of AI-generated design, then hands you the exact fixes to paste into your AI tool. Your app works. It just looks like AI built it. Not broken — just familiar. The same default font, the same purple gradient, the same centered hero with two buttons and three feature cards. Users can't articulate why it feels generic, but they notice. Unslop tells you exactly why, and exactly what to change. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the side panel next to whatever you're building and hit capture. Unslop scrolls the full page, screenshots every section, and reads what your CSS is actually doing — real fonts, colors, spacing values, border radii, shadow recipes, contrast ratios. 2. Get a score out of 100, judged against 60 documented signs of AI-generated design drawn from published design criticism. You'll see which areas are letting you down — text, color, layout, components, icons, writing, animation, usability, personality — and what a visitor actually notices. 3. Copy the fixes. Every finding comes with a precise instruction written for your coding agent, naming the property, the current value, and the target. Not "improve the typography" but "replace the 17 font sizes with a 6-step 1.25 scale: 12/14/16/20/25/31px." WHAT IT CHECKS • Text and fonts — untouched defaults, flat type scales, too many sizes, cramped line height • Colors — the indigo-to-purple gradient, unmodified framework palettes, contrast failures • Layout and spacing — off-grid values, monotonous rhythm, the centered-hero template • Buttons and cards — one radius on everything, shadow sprawl, components that drift between pages • Icons and images — emoji standing in for a real icon set, placeholder images, mixed icon libraries • Writing — buzzwords, filler copy, headlines that could belong to any product • Animation — bounce easing, layout-property transitions, missing hover and focus states • Usability — unlabeled buttons, contrast problems, missing keyboard support • Personality — whether anything here could not have come from a default MULTI-PAGE AUDITS Capture several screens and Unslop judges them together, including whether they look like they belong to the same product. Component drift between pages is one of the strongest signs nobody designed it. HONEST BY DESIGN Unslop scores well-designed products highly. A critique that flatters everything is worthless, but so is one that manufactures problems to seem rigorous. Every finding cites a measured value or something visible in the screenshot. PRIVACY Unslop only captures pages you explicitly ask it to, at the moment you press the button. It does not run in the background or watch your browsing.
