Hide Shorts and live notifications in the YouTube bell panel so only regular video uploads show. Toggle each filter in the popup. Notification Filter for YouTube hides Shorts notifications and live stream notifications in the YouTube bell panel, so the regular video uploads you actually want to watch stop getting buried. The more channels you subscribe to, the more "is live now" and Shorts alerts pile up - this extension keeps only the upload notifications. Features - Hide Shorts notifications: blocks items whose link points to /shorts/ (URL-based, so it works in every language) - Hide live notifications: checks the LIVE badge on the thumbnail and the notification text (English and Korean) - Popup toggles: turn the whole filter on or off, or switch Shorts and live filtering individually - Live counter: see how many notifications are hidden in the current tab - Handles the initial notification list and everything loaded later by infinite scroll Privacy No user data is collected or sent anywhere. Only your filter settings are saved in Chrome's sync storage (chrome.storage.sync) so the same settings apply on your other signed-in devices. Permissions - storage: save filter settings and sync them across devices - www.youtube.com host access: read the notification panel items to classify Shorts / live and hide them Scope The extension runs only on youtube.com and changes nothing outside the notification panel - home, search, and watch pages are untouched.
