Read-only autofill from your unlocked Nocturne vault. Never receives your vault key or master password. Nocturne Autofill offers to fill a saved login when you focus a username/password field on a site you've saved a credential for in your Nocturne password vault — nothing more. What it does: • Detects login forms and, if your Nocturne vault (open in another tab) has a saved match for that exact site, shows a "Fill from Nocturne" suggestion. • Fills the username and password on your click. Never autosubmits. • Every fill is scoped to an exact site match and logged to your organization's audit trail, the same as viewing that credential in the vault app itself. What it can't do: • Can't list, search, or export your vault. • Can't create, edit, or delete anything. • Does nothing at all unless a Nocturne vault tab is open and unlocked — no vault tab, no suggestions. How your data stays safe: This extension never receives your master password or your vault's encryption key, and never can — those exist only inside the vault web app's own browser tab, in memory, for as long as it's unlocked. The extension holds only its own extension-specific signing keypair (used to prove its identity to the vault, generated on first pairing, never transmitted anywhere). All matching and decryption happens inside the vault app itself; this extension is a relay, not a second place your vault's secrets are ever stored. Setup requires pairing: open your Nocturne vault's Settings → Browser extensions, click "Pair extension," and follow the one-time approval flow. Until you do that, this extension does nothing.
