Download, compress & convert all images in a Google Doc to AVIF or WebP Pluckr pulls every image out of a Google Doc in one go, then compresses and converts them - without uploading anything. Right-clicking images one at a time gives you whatever downscaled copy the page happened to render. Pluckr fetches the originals at full resolution and hands you the whole set as a ZIP. WHAT IT DOES • Grabs all images from the Google Doc you have open, in document order • Fetches full-resolution originals, not the downscaled page versions • Converts to AVIF, WebP, JPEG, or PNG - or exports every format at once • Quality control, plus an AVIF effort setting to trade speed for file size • Resize by width and height, with aspect-ratio presets and cover/contain fit • Shows the size saved per image before you download • Downloads everything as a single ZIP named after your document EVERYTHING RUNS ON YOUR MACHINE Pluckr has no server. Decoding, resizing, and encoding all happen inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your documents and images are never uploaded to us, because there is nowhere to upload them to. No analytics, no tracking, no account. ABOUT GOOGLE SIGN-IN Signing in is optional. Without it, Pluckr reads the images the page has already loaded. Sign in and it uses the Google Docs API to fetch originals at full resolution instead. Pluckr requests one read-only scope, documents.readonly, and uses it only to read the images and title of the document you are actively viewing. It cannot edit, create, or delete anything in your Drive. Document text, comments, and revision history are never read. You can disconnect from inside the extension at any time.
