Highlight AI-style slop in your X/Twitter feed. On-device scoring only. Mute, not interested, and block stay off by default. Slop Blocker is free feed hygiene for X/Twitter. It scores posts that look like AI-generated or engagement-farm “slop,” then highlights them in your timeline so you can skim past them. Optional mute, not-interested, and block tools exist — they ship OFF. You turn them on only if you want automation. How it works • Reads posts already on x.com / twitter.com pages you open • Scores text with a neural model that runs entirely inside the extension on your device — no server, no API, nothing leaves your machine • Falls back to writing-pattern heuristics if the model can’t load (and supports an optional localhost dev server for tinkerers) • Outlines flagged posts with a badge and confidence level (amber → orange → red) • Logs scores on-device so you can review what would have been acted on Defaults (safe for first install) • Highlight: on • Mute / Not interested / Block: off • No account, no subscription, no in-app purchase You control aggressiveness • Highlight threshold — when outlines appear • Action threshold — only matters if you enable an action • Whitelist — handles that are never auto-acted on • Master on/off switch in the toolbar popup Privacy in one line Scoring runs on-device (the model ships inside the extension) and logs stay on your machine. Settings use Chrome storage. No analytics SDKs. No remote backend operated by us. If you enable the optional local dev server, post text is sent only to localhost on your computer.
