StyleSnip helps front-end developers inspect responsive layouts and turn a selected page element into portable static HTML and CSS. FEATURES • Preview the current page at saved or temporary viewport widths. • Select an element directly on the page, including open shadow roots and same-origin frames. • Capture compact CSS, full computed CSS, sanitized HTML, screenshots, and referenced resource status. • Compare single- or multi-viewport results in a focused result workspace. • Copy a complete style snippet, download images, or export a structured ZIP archive. • Keep scripts, form submission, and interaction disabled in exported previews. HOW TO USE 1. Click the StyleSnip toolbar icon. 2. Start a responsive preview or select an element immediately. 3. Lock the target, choose capture widths and optional screenshot settings, then confirm. 4. Review, copy, or download the result from the result workspace. PRIVACY StyleSnip processes the page content you explicitly select, along with its computed styles and referenced resources, locally in Chrome. It does not upload page content, URLs, screenshots, or capture results to StyleSnip or any third party. It does not use analytics, advertising, or remote processing. PERMISSIONS StyleSnip accesses a page only after you click its toolbar icon or use its selection shortcut. The debugger permission is used only during an active responsive preview to emulate the requested viewport; Chrome displays its standard debugging notice while the connection is active.
