This extension uses speech recognition technology, powered by Google or Microsoft, to convert speech from any source into text: the transcribing process. Then it translates the text from one language to another using your preferred translation service. Free & Premium While the core functionality of Speech Translator is completely free, we now offer Premium Upgrades for users who need advanced capabilities (like Desktop Capture, Offline Mode, or premium translation engines). Privacy & Security We take your data seriously. If you use the free version with default settings, all speech processing happens safely inside your browser or via secure Google APIs. If you create an account to use Premium translation engines, your transcribed text is only ever shared with the specific translation service you explicitly select.
