Connect Prokop to Chrome so it can read, navigate, and interact with web pages Prokop Browser is the browser companion for Prokop, the open-source agentic coding workspace. It connects your browser to a running Prokop server, giving your agents built-in tools to inspect and interact with web pages on your behalf. How It Works 1. Connect to Prokop Enter your Prokop server URL (for example, http://localhost:8742) and an optional API token in the extension popup. 2. Give your agent a browser task Prokop's built-in browser tools send instructions to the extension through a WebSocket connection. 3. Stay in control Browser actions are performed as part of agent sessions you control. The extension does not operate independently in the background. Capabilities - Read page content Extract visible text so your agent can understand the current page. - Take screenshots Capture the visible browser tab so your agent can inspect its visual state. - Navigate Open URLs and move between pages. - Click, type, and interact Click buttons, fill out forms, select dropdown options, press keys, scroll pages, and interact with other page elements. - Discover interactive elements Identify visible links, buttons, inputs, and other controls before taking action. - Manage tabs Open, close, inspect, and switch between browser tabs. Privacy and Security - Connects directly to your Prokop server The extension communicates with the server URL you configure. It does not depend on a separate browser automation cloud service. - No tracking No analytics, telemetry, or third-party tracking. - Open source The code is publicly available and auditable at github.com/capek-dev/prokop. - Agent-session control Browser actions originate from active Prokop sessions that you control.
