Description

Blocks YouTube Shorts by redirecting Shorts URLs, hiding Shorts UI elements, and counting blocked Shorts. YouTube Shorts Blocker prevents Shorts from interrupting your browsing by redirecting Shorts URLs to the main YouTube view and hiding Shorts-related UI elements across the site. It keeps a local counter of unique Shorts videos blocked (by video ID) and persists your preferences using the browser storage API so settings and the counter survive browser sessions. All processing happens locally in your browser; no browsing data is sent to external servers and the extension does not download or execute remote code at runtime. Toggle blocking on/off from the popup and reset the counter at any time.
