Ultra-fast bookmark search with smart indexing and configurable history Fast Bookmark Search — find any bookmark in a couple of keystrokes Fast Bookmark Search is a search box for your Chrome bookmarks. Open it, start typing, and matching bookmarks appear as you type — matched on title, URL, and folder path. If you keep more than a handful of bookmarks and lose time digging through folders or scrolling long lists, this replaces that with a single search that finds the right one in a few keystrokes. No setup, no accounts, and nothing leaves your browser. WHAT IT DOES - Type-ahead search. Your bookmarks are indexed in memory the moment the popup opens, so results update on every keystroke instead of after a pause. The best match is preselected — type a few letters and press Enter. - Fuzzy matching. When an exact match comes up short, it also matches letters in order even when they aren't adjacent, so "gh" finds GitHub and "dwnld" finds downloads. - Ranking that learns from you. Bookmarks you open more often, and more recently, move toward the top. It considers how many times and how recently you've opened each one, not just the last visit. - Recent bookmarks up front. Open the popup without typing and it shows the last 15 bookmarks you opened through it, for quick repeat access. - Jumps to an open tab. If the page is already open in another tab, it switches to that tab instead of opening a duplicate. Hold Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) to force a new tab. KEYBOARD-FRIENDLY - Open the popup with a shortcut (default Alt+Shift+B, remappable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts). - Move through results with the arrow keys, or Ctrl+N / Ctrl+J and Ctrl+K / Ctrl+P. - Enter opens the selection, Ctrl/Cmd+C copies its URL, Esc closes. OTHER DETAILS - Accent-insensitive: searching "camara" finds "cámara". - Light and dark themes, following your system by default. - Interface available in 15 languages: English, Chinese (Mandarin), Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Indonesian, French, Japanese, Russian, German, Hindi, Korean, Italian, Turkish, and Dutch. - Privacy: everything runs locally. No data is collected and no external requests are made for your bookmarks. Recent-bookmark history is optional and can be turned off or cleared at any time.
