Translate selected text in place on any page. Bring your own Anthropic API key. Translate any selection in place, right where you are reading. Select text on any page, then click the floating button or pick Translate from the right-click menu. The selection is replaced by its translati italics, links and images where they belong. A mini-bar lets you peek at the original, restore it, or translate again. Select whole sentences or paragraphs rather than single word context, so the surrounding words are what let it pick the right meaning, and a word on its own loses exactly that. Requires your own Anthropic API key, pasted in the options. Target languages: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Russian. - Your API key is kept in local extension storage (chrome.storage.local), on this device only. It is never synced to your Google account. - api.anthropic.com is the only server this extension contacts. No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party service. - Nothing leaves your browser until you ask for a translation, and only the text you selected is sent.
