Save Facebook videos, Reels, Stories and whole photo albums in HD MP4 or JPG, with batch saving for the albums you pick. FDownloader copies the video and photo content that Facebook has already loaded into your browser onto your own computer. It reaches the material a right-click leaves behind - Reels, Watch videos, Stories, feed videos, photo posts and entire albums - and shows you the renditions the page exposes so the resolution is your decision. Files are written straight to your Downloads folder. ## Features - Reels, Watch videos, Stories, feed videos and photo posts are all handled by the same extension, with no separate mode to switch into. - Bulk album saving: point FDownloader at an album and its items are queued and written out in sequence, instead of opening each one by hand. - A quality picker that lists every rendition the page exposes, so nothing is chosen on your behalf. - Video is saved as MP4 and photos as JPG, at whatever resolution you selected. - When Facebook delivers sound and picture as two separate streams, a bundled ffmpeg WebAssembly module joins them on your machine before the file is written. - Two ways in: a button placed on the item itself, and a Chrome side panel that lists what was found and how far each job has got. - Your quality choice and filename preferences are kept in local storage, so a long session stays consistent from the first file to the last. ## Supported platforms Facebook only. FDownloader is active on facebook.com, web.facebook.com and m.facebook.com, and does nothing at all on any other website. ## How to use 1. Install FDownloader, then reload any Facebook tab that was already open in Chrome. 2. Go to the Reel, Watch video, Story, post or album you want to keep. 3. Click the FDownloader button on the item, or open the side panel, and pick a resolution from the list that appears. 4. Start the save and collect the MP4 or JPG from your Downloads folder. ## Privacy FDownloader runs locally in the browser and sends no user data to any server. There is no account, no sign-up, no tracking and no analytics of any kind; the preferences it remembers stay in local browser storage on this computer. Audio and video merging happens on your own machine through the bundled ffmpeg WebAssembly module, so nothing is uploaded anywhere for processing.
