Description
Gives an instant map view and distance of the highlighted place(s) Generates an instant map with a route line and its total distance from a specified source location to a highlighted location text. Simply enter a place name or its address into the extension popup, then highlight any place name or address text, right click, and press the extension's option. The extension will generate a map with both locations, including a visual route line from one location to the other, as well as give you the distance in miles and kilometers between the two. If a source location isn't entered into the extension popup, the extension will generate a map of any highlighted text that's a valid location. Locations can be an alias like "Empire State Building", or a physical address, like "123 45th st... etc". Serves a quick view of the surrounding area of any address or landmark. Easily close-able, doesn't open any new tabs or windows, or open any websites. Useful for planning trips to get an idea of where and how far the places you want to go are relative to the place you're staying at. Or, if you want to flip it and want to pick the hotel with the best location relative to all the touristy spots in the area. Also good for if you ever want to get a quick glimpse of the map around an address. Supports full and partial addresses, as well as alternate names such as "Empire State Building". If you're planning a trip and checking hotels, highlight the hotel's address to see its surrounding area. Uses Geoapify's APIs.
