Show Hatena Bookmark counts and Hacker News points on Google and DuckDuckGo results. GSearch With Social Signals is a Chrome extension that adds public social signals to supported Google Search and DuckDuckGo web result pages. It displays Hatena Bookmark counts and Hacker News points next to result links, helping users see public attention or discussion before opening a page. Features: - Supports normal web results on Google Search and DuckDuckGo. - Shows Hatena Bookmark counts for supported result URLs. - Shows the highest matching Hacker News story score for URLs found through Hacker News Search / Algolia. - Shows a Hatena comment preview when the Hatena badge is hovered or focused. - Optionally hides results when neither Hatena Bookmark nor Hacker News reports a positive signal. This filter is off by default, and results stay visible if either request fails. - Lets users toggle the filter from the Chrome toolbar popup or the settings page. - Handles continuously loaded results while excluding advertisements and search-provider navigation. - Does not change search ranking, result titles, snippets, or ads. The extension runs only on the listed Google Search domains and DuckDuckGo. On DuckDuckGo, it processes normal web results and does not process image, video, or news tabs. To provide these features, the extension sends result URLs to Hatena Bookmark APIs and Hacker News Search / Algolia. The developer does not operate a server for this extension and does not store result URLs, search queries, browsing history, or search-provider account information.
