Right-click to attach persistent sticky notes to any page. Multiple per page, each with its own color, plus a per-site dashboard. PageNote pins sticky notes to the exact web pages you want to remember things on. Right-click anywhere, choose "Add PageNote", and a note appears on the page. Come back to that URL tomorrow, next week, or next month and your notes are still sitting where you left them. WHAT IT DOES • Multiple notes per page — pin as many as you need to a single URL. Each note is independent: its own text, its own place on the page, its own styling. • Drag them anywhere — grab a note by its header and drop it where it makes sense. Each note remembers its own position. • Color and opacity — pick from four colors and set opacity anywhere from 20% to 100%, so a note can sit boldly on top of the page or fade back into it. Both save automatically. • They come back — return to a URL and its notes reappear on their own. Anchor fragments are ignored, so page#intro and page#pricing share the same notes. • Per-site dashboard — click the toolbar icon for a list of every note on the current site, across all of its pages, each with its color swatch and page path. Search filters the list. Click a note and the tab jumps straight to the page that note lives on. A "This site / All sites" toggle widens the list to every note you have saved anywhere. • Whole-domain mode — in Settings, switch "On-page notes" from "This page" to "Whole domain" and every note saved anywhere on a site shows up on every page of that site. Open tabs update the moment you flip it. • Tidy card controls — collapse a note to its header, toggle edit/save, delete it outright, or dismiss it with × to hide it until your next visit. Esc cancels an edit, and saving an empty note simply discards it. YOUR NOTES STAY ON YOUR MACHINE PageNote has no account, no sign-in, and no server. Every note is written to your browser's local extension storage and never leaves your device. The extension makes no network requests of any kind — there is no analytics, no telemetry, and no third party receiving anything. Uninstalling the extension removes the notes with it. NOTES ON PERMISSIONS PageNote runs on http and https pages so a note can be attached to whichever page you are reading — it reads the page's URL and title to anchor and label your notes, and nothing else about the page's contents. It cannot run on browser-internal pages like chrome:// or on the Chrome Web Store itself; the toolbar icon flashes a red "!" when you try, rather than failing silently.
