Pairs with the focuswrk iPhone app. Deep Work Sessions on your phone automatically block distracting websites in this browser. **Focuswrk Companion is the desktop half of Focuswrk, the calm deep work timer for iPhone.** Start a Deep Work Session on your iPhone, and your browser automatically goes quiet. Websites you choose to block are replaced with a gentle Focuswrk page until your session ends. No account. No sign-in. No new habits to learn. Pair once by scanning the QR code in the extension, and from then on, the extension simply follows your phone. ### HOW IT WORKS • Open Focuswrk on iPhone → **Settings → Desktop Companion**, then scan the QR code shown in the extension popup. • Start a Deep Work Session on your phone. The extension receives your session and blocklist. • Visit a blocked website and you'll see the Focuswrk page with your remaining time instead. • Pause on your phone and blocking lifts. Resume and it returns. End the session and blocked tabs are released automatically. ### WHAT YOU GET • Automatic website blocking tied to your Deep Work Sessions. • A live countdown badge on the toolbar icon. • A calm blocked page showing your remaining time and current task. • Optional posture nudges through quiet desktop notifications when your AirPods detect slouching. • Support for any blocklist you create in the Focuswrk app, including social media, news, video, and more. ### PRIVACY FIRST • Focuswrk never records your browsing history or sends visited pages anywhere. • Website addresses are checked against your blocklist locally in the browser. • Pairing uses a random one-time code. Your phone and browser communicate through a private relay channel, with nothing stored on a server. • Unpair anytime from the extension popup with one click. ### REQUIRES The Focuswrk iPhone app from the App Store and Chrome 120 or newer. The extension does nothing on its own. It exists to mirror the deep work sessions you start on your phone. **focuswrk — focus creates a landscape.**
