Read or capture the job listing in this tab and score it against your mounted JobSketcher CV. JobSketcher sits beside the job tab you already have open. It reads the listing, scores it against the CV you mounted in your JobSketcher account, and helps you write a tailored CV, cover letter, and application answers without leaving Chrome. WHY INSTALL IT Copying a job into another tab, then rewriting your CV by hand, is slow and easy to get wrong. This side panel stays on the listing. You score the role you are looking at, keep going when you click a different job, and download a one-page CV or cover letter when you are ready to apply. WHAT IT DOES • Read this page — pulls the job title, company, and description from the tab • Snapshot — captures the visible listing when the site blocks text extraction • Score — match score, missing skills, and what to strengthen, using only your mounted CV • Tailor CV — rewrites summary and bullets from your real experience. It does not invent jobs • Cover letter — write, edit, copy, or download a one-page PDF • Application questions — read the form on the apply tab and continue answers in JobSketcher • Follows the tab — a new listing in this window updates the panel. You do not need to close it You sign in with the same email and password as jobsketcher.com. Browser cookies are not shared, so the extension asks you to sign in once. WHO IT IS FOR Job seekers who already use JobSketcher and want the listing, the score, and the tailored documents in one place. JobSketcher is invite-only. Request access at https://jobsketcher.com/ if you do not have an account yet. HOW TO USE IT 1. Mount a CV on jobsketcher.com 2. Open a job listing (Indeed, LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Workday, and similar boards) 3. Click the JobSketcher icon to open the side panel 4. Choose Read this page (or Snapshot if the page blocks access) 5. Score, tailor, write a letter, then download PDFs or continue in the web app PERMISSIONS The extension asks for page access so it can read or snapshot the listing you choose. It talks to JobSketcher’s servers to score and write. It does not iframe the website and it does not run on every site until you allow that tab.
