Shows the evidence score and sources of a YouTube video, right under the title. The Sourcy panel shows you: • the evidence score — how well SOURCED the video is (not whether it is true); • a strip of analysed passages that follows playback live and jumps you to the right moment in one click; • every claim linked to its source, tagged AGREES or CONTRADICTS. On Shorts, a badge slips into the action bar: the ring fills according to the evidence score, and the details open on click. BROWSING NEEDS NO ACCOUNT The catalogue is freely visible. Signing in is only needed to contribute. ANALYSING A VIDEO Two paths, switchable at any time: • your Sourcy credits — the analysis runs on our servers, you can close the tab; • your own Gemini key — free and with no length limit, but the tab must stay open. No credits? You can still request an analysis: the most requested videos are handled first. COLLABORATIVE FACT-CHECKING The AI provides a first source per passage; the community adds the rest and votes. A source only counts towards the score once others have validated it — so posting your own links moves nothing on its own. Disputed sources are collapsed, never deleted: an unfairly rejected source can always be brought back. Accepted sources are limited to a vetted list of domains: press, scientific publications, institutions and fact-checking organisations. YOUR PRIVACY • No trackers, no ads, no data resale. • The extension reads no page other than YouTube. • Your personal Gemini key, if you save one, stays in your browser and is only ever sent to Google — never to our servers.
