Quotalis for Claude is a lightweight Chrome extension that keeps an eye on your Claude.ai usage limits, so you stop guessing how much you have left. Honestly? I built it for myself, because I kept hitting limits mid-thought and wanted a number in my toolbar instead of a surprise. It reads your current session and weekly usage straight from Claude.ai and shows what's remaining — as a clear percentage in a compact popup, with a live countdown to each reset, and as a color-coded badge on the toolbar icon. Quotalis is intentionally small. No dashboard, no analytics, no account, no "productivity platform." Just a quiet local meter that helps you avoid running into a wall. ✨ What it does - Shows your remaining session and weekly usage at a glance - Shows any per-model weekly limits Claude reports (like Opus or Fable) — extra rows appear automatically, only when they apply to your plan - Live countdown to when each limit resets - Toolbar badge with your remaining session quota, color-coded from green to red as it drains - One-click refresh, plus automatic updates in the background - Open Claude.ai straight from the popup 📅 Weekly forecast A simple 7-day pace strip helps you spread your remaining weekly quota instead of burning it all at once. - Splits your remaining weekly quota evenly across the days left until reset, so you always know today's fair share - Counts your weekly limit in 5-hour windows, using a capacity number you can adjust - Optional settings: work weekends, or mark today as done to shift the split onto the remaining days - Hover a past day for a rough estimate of how much you already used that day (there's no per-day history, so it's an approximation spread evenly across elapsed days) - Export your full local usage history as a CSV whenever you want to dig into the raw numbers yourself The forecast is a visual pacing aid only — it never changes the real numbers Claude reports. 🌐 Languages Available in 12 languages — English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Ukrainian, Indonesian, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Simplified Chinese. It follows your browser language and falls back to English when there's no match. 🔒 Privacy Quotalis only asks for the permissions it actually needs to read your Claude.ai usage. Your usage numbers are stored locally in your browser — nothing is sold, shared, or uploaded anywhere. - No analytics, no remote scripts, no third-party APIs - No access to your browsing history, clipboard, or downloads - No broad host permissions — claude.ai only Claude cookies are used solely to request usage data from Claude.ai's own API endpoints.
