Finds the videos a page plays and saves them to disk — including HLS and DASH streams, reassembled into one file. Kescher saves the videos and music you watch or listen to in your browser as normal files on your computer. Works on thousands of websites. Kescher needs no list of supported sites: it watches what the page's own player loads, so almost any site that plays video or audio just works — media libraries, news sites, social networks, podcasts, lecture platforms and many more. How it works Open a page and press play. Click the Kescher icon in the toolbar. It lists every video and audio track on the page, with quality and size. Pick the quality, change the file name if you like, click Download. Done. What you get One complete file. Videos that arrive in hundreds of small pieces are put back together into a single MP4 that plays anywhere, in original quality — nothing is re-encoded. Audio only. Save just the sound as M4A, or as MP3 converted right inside your browser. No extra program needed. Subtitles as separate files, when the site offers them. Title, artist and cover picture written into the file, so it looks right in your music or video app. Your preferred quality and audio language, set once in the settings. Big files go straight to your disk; a two-hour film never fills your memory. A downloads page with progress, pause, resume and history, a notification when a download finishes, and full support for private windows. Free. No account, no limits, no watermark, no "premium" version. Private by design Kescher sends nothing anywhere. No account, no server, no tracking, no analytics. It only talks to the website you are downloading from, the same way your browser already does. What it does not do Copy-protected content (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and similar) is shown as protected and cannot be downloaded. Live streams cannot be recorded yet. Kescher is German for "dip net": the net you hold under the stream to lift out what is already flowing past. Please only download content you have the right to download.
