See where each Codex quota is heading by reset, with local forecasts and nothing leaving your device. Burn Rate Coach adds one estimated outcome to each quota card on the Codex Analytics usage page: the balance likely to remain at reset, or when the balance may reach zero. Color compares that outcome with your target, and a compact trajectory shows the observed and projected path—without another dashboard. WHAT IT SHOWS • Read the projected balance at reset or estimated early-zero time first. • Compare the forecast with your end-of-window target through color. • Follow observed usage, the quiet target path, and the estimated path in one compact trajectory. • Read every quota window independently; no meter overrides another. ONE SETTING Choose how much quota you want left at reset. The target is a reference for color and never pulls the forecast toward it. The four-point corridor is fixed product policy. While Codex Analytics is open and producing fresh totals, Burn Rate Coach automatically keeps a bounded 14-day pacing history on this device, including when the coach is hidden. Clear history removes the stored samples. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Burn Rate Coach has no separate account, backend, ads, product analytics, telemetry, or remote code. While Codex Analytics is open, it passively observes the page's existing quota-response result and accesses only the stable meter identity, usage percentage, window duration, and reset timing needed for the forecast. It matches those values to Codex cards using only numeric progress and reset metadata; translated labels and card order are not inputs. It does not initiate additional requests or inspect headers, cookies, passwords, tokens, or API keys. It does not read prompts, conversations, or source code, and it never sends quota data to the developer or third parties. The raw response object and unrelated account, email, plan, credit, and spend-control fields never cross into the extension's isolated context or storage. Settings and automatic bounded history stay in Chrome's local extension storage. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS History begins only after Burn Rate Coach observes the Analytics page. A hidden browser tab records no cadence sample, and activity while the page is closed appears only as a gap between observations. Forecasts are model-based estimates, not guarantees, and are not claimed to be empirically calibrated on real usage histories. Percentage points are not tasks, tokens, messages, or minutes; consumption varies with workload and model. Burn Rate Coach follows Chrome's interface language. Quota collection does not depend on translated page labels. Requires Chrome 111 or later and an authorized ChatGPT account with access to Codex Analytics.
