CAPTURE WHAT YOU NEED • Capture the visible viewport or an entire supported HTTP or HTTPS page. • Open the completed image directly in the editor. • Use built-in device viewport presets when you need a consistent layout. • Run a controlled batch from a list of URLs and review each result locally. ANNOTATE AND PROTECT DETAILS • Crop the image without changing the original source capture. • Add arrows, rectangles, lines, ellipses, freehand pen strokes, highlights, and text. • Apply solid redaction before exporting or sharing. • Select, move, resize, rotate, reorder, duplicate, undo, and redo annotations. PLAN WITH AUTOMATE WITH AI • Describe supported capture, crop, redaction, annotation, or export tasks in plain language. • Review the generated plan, target, sequence, limits, and any data transfer before running it. • Planning begins only after you submit the request with Send. • No capture, editor, or browser action runs until you review the plan and press Run. • Unsupported or ambiguous requests are refused instead of executing unexpected actions. LOCAL BY DEFAULT Captures and editor data remain in this Chrome profile and are not sent to the AI planner. When a signed-in user submits an Automate with AI request, the request text, active-tab URL and title, selected capture settings, and available feature names are sent through CTC to the configured AI provider to create a reviewable plan. Screenshot pixels and automatically read page or form content are not included. Text that you type or paste into the request is included. A capture is uploaded only when you explicitly create a share link. The extension does not use chrome.debugger and runs page-capture logic only after a user-initiated capture action.
