Full privacy. HOW IT WORKS Open an article. The player appears at the right edge of the page, and a "Listen" card with the estimated time appears under the title. Press play, and the main article is read aloud — not the clutter around it. The current sentence lifts in a soft teal tint; the spoken word flashes lime as it goes. Click any word to jump there, or rewind a sentence at a time — you never lose your place. PRIVACY Cloud text-to-speech tools send your page text to a server to generate the audio. ReadAloud doesn't — the voice is synthesized on your device, online or offline. Nothing you read leaves your device.
