It detects video completion through native playback events for a seamless, natural scrolling experience. For YouTube Shorts, 1Short also includes an optional Ad Skip feature that automatically detects and skips sponsored videos by identifying ad-specific elements in the page's DOM structure, so you can browse without interruptions. The extension adds a simple toggle to your browser toolbar. Enable it once and it works silently in the background — no configuration required. Ad-related DOM elements (`reels-ad-metadata-view-model`, `ad-badge-view-model`) remained cached in the DOM after navigation, causing false positives. Added visibility validation (`getBoundingClientRect` + `getComputedStyle`) to confirm the element is actually rendered on screen before treating it as an active ad.
