Rewrite selected text with your configured AI chat. Choose Quick, Normal, or Formal, then review and apply each suggestion. Re-Phraser helps you rewrite text directly where you are typing. Select all text in an email, message, form, note, or supported editor. Choose Quick, Normal, or Formal. Re-Phraser sends the rewrite request to the AI chat you configured, then brings the suggestion back so you can review it before applying it. How it works 1. Open Re-Phraser settings and save the URL of a chat you want to use. 2. Select all text inside an editable field. 3. Choose Quick, Normal, or Formal. 4. Review the suggested rewrite. 5. Apply it only when you are happy with it. Rewrite modes Quick Light grammar correction and small rephrasing while staying close to your original wording. Normal Clearer, more natural writing with improved grammar and flow. Formal Professional, respectful writing for work, official, or formal messages. Personalise every rewrite Add your own About Me, Global Prompt, and Avoid These Things settings. Re-Phraser uses them to keep suggestions closer to your tone and communication style. Privacy Re-Phraser has no developer-run backend, analytics, tracking, or API-key field. Your selected text and writing preferences are not stored by Re-Phraser after a rewrite. When you choose a mode, the selected text is sent to the AI chat URL you configured. Only use content you are comfortable sharing with that AI provider. Important Re-Phraser is not affiliated with or endorsed by any AI provider. It requires an active, signed-in AI chat session and may not work with every website editor or AI chat interface.
