Replace mailto links with configurable links to preferred target sites Mailto links are annoying. If you never want a desktop email app to pop up, or a slow new webmail tab, this extension puts you back in control. Fix Mailto Links intercepts clicks on mailto: links and sends them somewhere you actually want to go. You'll get a dialog box where you can copy the email address, or navigate to default sites you can configure. Typically, you might redirect to your organization's people directory rather than an email client. PRIVACY The extension collects nothing and makes no network requests. Your target rules are stored in Chrome's synced extension storage. Link handling happens in your local browser only. Email addresses are only ever sent as part of a target site URL you configured.
