A controlled AI agent that reads and operates only the page you attach. Browser Agent is a controlled AI assistant for the Chrome Side Panel. It can read and operate only the page you explicitly attach, helping you complete repetitive browser tasks without giving the agent unrestricted access to other tabs. What Browser Agent can do: - Read and understand the current page - Summarize, extract, and organize page content - Click buttons, fill fields, and navigate within the attached page - Assist with repetitive workflows while showing execution progress - Request your approval before sensitive actions Designed for control: - Each task is locked to the tab where it started - Browser Agent cannot create, switch, close, or control other tabs - Purchases, payments, file uploads, and other high-risk actions are blocked - Some browser-internal and restricted pages are unavailable Bring your own AI provider: Configure a compatible third-party model service using your own API Base URL, API key, and model ID. Task instructions and relevant page content are sent directly to the provider you configure when you start a task. An optional Capability Service can also be configured by the user for supported structured workflows. It is disabled by default, and Browser Agent does not provide or operate this third-party service. Privacy and storage: Browser Agent does not include advertising or publisher-operated analytics. Configuration and task history are stored locally in the extension’s Chrome storage. Data sent to a user-configured model or Capability Service is subject to that provider’s privacy and retention terms. Browser Agent is intended to make current-page browser work faster while keeping page access, approvals, and execution visible to the user.
