Connect AI chats to Blender through the local Blender Bridge app to run scene commands, receive results, and share previews. Connect your browser-based AI chat to Blender running on your own computer. Blender Bridge recognizes structured Blender commands in the AI conversation, routes them through the paired local Blender Bridge companion app, and returns execution results and optional scene previews to the same chat. Universal Auto Setup adapts this workflow to the AI chat interface selected by the user, including new, private, corporate, and self-hosted interfaces. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install Blender and the Blender Bridge companion app on your Windows computer. 2. Sign in to Blender Bridge and pair the extension with the local app. 3. Open the AI chat you want to use and run Universal Auto Setup for that site. 4. Ask the AI to perform a Blender scene or workflow task. 5. Review the Blender result, scene information, and any requested preview in the same conversation. CONTROLLED EXECUTION - A new installation starts in Manual Mode, where each recognized Blender command has its own Run control. - Auto Mode is enabled only when the user chooses it. It processes only a new structured Blender command from a new model response after user activity in the current chat. - Commands already on the page when it loads, commands from an earlier chat/navigation session, and duplicate requests are ignored. - Unconfigured sites remain in Sleep Mode until the user completes Universal Auto Setup. - Account entitlement, the user-managed local Pairing Key, request deduplication, and the signed execution lease gate every Blender operation. - Blender Bridge can be disabled globally from the extension UI at any time. BLENDER WORKFLOW FEATURES - Structured Blender Python commands for user-requested scene and workflow operations - Universal Auto Setup for user-selected browser-based AI chat interfaces - Manual and Auto execution modes - Scene Scan and Blender viewport previews - Results, logs, and scene summaries returned to the current chat - Request-safe Undo for the most recent supported Blender Bridge operation - Optional user-initiated scene sharing - 15 interface languages LOCAL-FIRST DATA FLOW Blender commands, scene state, results, and previews travel between the selected chat tab and the paired Blender Bridge app on the same computer. They are not uploaded to Blender Bridge cloud servers during the normal extension workflow. Blender Bridge cloud servers receive only the account and subscription information needed for sign-in and entitlement. Results or previews are sent to an AI or social destination only as part of the workflow selected by the user. The extension contains no advertising or analytics SDK and does not sell user data. The Blender Bridge companion app is required because Chrome does not execute Blender Python; execution occurs only in the paired local Blender runtime.
