AI-powered text correction for any text field. Supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Ollama TypeFlow corrects text in any field on any website: Gmail, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, forums, support tickets, anywhere you type. It works inside embedded editors too, including Gmail's compose box. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click into a text field and write. 2. Press Ctrl+Shift+K (Cmd+Shift+K on Mac), or open the TypeFlow panel. 3. Review the correction and apply it. You bring your own AI. TypeFlow connects with your own API key to: - OpenAI - Anthropic - Google Gemini - Ollama, which runs locally, so nothing leaves your machine - Any custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint FEATURES - Works in any text field, including iframes like Gmail compose - Four writing styles: Professional, Friendly, Casual, Concise - All four are prefetched at once, so switching between them is instant - Highlight part of your text to correct just that part - Draggable panel with a copy button - Customizable keyboard shortcut - Light, dark, and auto themes New in 1.4.0: Custom writing styles: create up to 6 of your own styles with their own instructions Right-click any text field and pick "Correct with TypeFlow" with any style Follow-up adjustments: make a correction Shorter, Longer, Simpler, or More formal with one click Privacy Shield (optional): masks emails, phone numbers, and card numbers before text is sent to your AI provider Correction history: your last 50 applied corrections, stored only on your device Panel keyboard shortcuts: Alt+1-9 pick style, Alt+Enter apply, Alt+C copy, Alt+D changes, Esc close Page context is now on by default for smarter corrections (can be turned off in Settings) PRIVACY Your text goes only to the AI provider you set up. We don't run servers and we don't collect anything. Your API key stays in Chrome's local storage on your device. Use Ollama if you want everything to stay on your machine. You'll need an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, or a local Ollama install. Add it once in settings and you're set.
